[FREE DOWNLOAD] Simultaneous Linear Equations

One solution, Two solutions, Infinitely many solutions… ??? This little graphic will be sure to clear things up for you.

I put together this little summary of the various conditions for solving simultaneous linear equations. Feel free to print it off and add it to your notes to take into SACs or Exams.

Hope it helps!

These questions have appeared in the Exam (1&2) almost every year since 2007. They’re definitely ones you’ll want to have under control for SACs and for the EOY Exams.

IMPORTANT: Whilst the matrix method is no longer a part of the new study design for MM in 2016, this method can be used by students if they choose to. Assessment questions will not be written in matrix form.
